PM wants to eliminate corrption

I refer the call given by Mr. Manmohan Singh to eliminate corruption from the country. It is easy to preach the sermon than to practise it. I request Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh to first clean his own Ministry . If all central ministers are clean and do not indulge in corrupt practices there is no doubt that administration below the Minister will improve.I am hundred percent sure that entire administration will not dare ask for bribe or commission in cash or kind when Central or state government Ministers stop accumulating wealth. When ministers do not pressurise for money in any deal to his secretaries ,none will have enough courage to forcefully opt for route of bribe .It is only when Ministers do not care for public problem or problem of businessmen that huge amount of cash is offered to Minister though his yesman to ensure execution of desired work. And when higher authority indulge in unhealthy practices , the same culture percolates down the level and grow more ad more it goes towards lower level Babus.Therefore if Manmohan really calls for an end to corruption I have one suggestion to offer that He should ensure hundred percent that None of Ministers in his Government ask for Bribe and assests of all ministers are checked secretly by various intelligence agencies. If it is found that the assets of any minister has grawn disproportionately to his actual income Mr. Manmohan Singh must have courage to penalise him ,remove him from his government and also recover the ill-legally acquired money from the concerned minister who indulged in corruption .As a consequance None of beaurocrates will ask for bribe for execution of any contract.None of bankers will ask for commission before sanction of loan.None of Income Tax Officers will accept bribe before assessment of any file.And so on.........Initiative to remove corruption from the system must start from the Top.I give an example of how seeds of corrption is sown. When a Minister desires to visit a town his secretaries will immediately inform his counterpart in that town to make the visit a grand success.Then team of officers approaches to contribute either in cash or kind to make the trip of Ministers a grand success .This goes on building pressure down the line and terrorise all big businessman of the town. It causes erosion of morality in top officers and businessman and junior officers are tempted to get their workdone through Minister. Even in Branch of a Bank when Regional head visits it needs huge expenses to please him.Wherefrom money will come to meet such unwarranted expenses. It will definitely push the Branch Manager to adopt wrong path. It is definitely shameful that a senior citizen has to offer bribe to het his hard earned pension from a bank. One thould ponder over the matter why and how after all such shameful atmosphere created? Who is responsible for such unhealthy practices. Last but not the least is the delayed justice from judiciary and lack of action from police department who are supposed to the protect the citizen who complains to them about unfair practices. Unfortunately the present ailing system awards only those who can afford bribe as per whims and fancies of the officers who occupies the chair of Justice and Protection.As such there is no fear in the mind of those who indulge in corrupt practices and perpetuate and promote the same .I therefore propose second line of action which is ensure reign of terror for those who are corrupt and at the same time reign of Love and Honour who are hoest and devoted to the Nation.
